The Henderson Lions varsity baseball team struggled to find its rhythm in Kilgore Friday. 

The Lions fell 13-2 after five innings. Caleb Medford took the loss for the Lions. He surrendered eight runs on one hit over one and one-third innings, striking out two. Cole Bradley and Quentin Moon also pitched for the Lions. 

Bady Odom, Dalton Modisette, Tugger Pool, CW Lockridge, Medford and Collin Everitt each managed one hit for the Lions. Modisette and Medford each had an RBI. 

The Lions traveled to Longview to play Spring Hill Tuesday and will play the Panthers at home Friday.
