Graveside services for Ms. Jeanette Ellis, 74, of Henderson, was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021, at Crims Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Pete Thompson officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. 

Ms. Ellis passed from this life on December 30, 2020, at UT Health in Henderson. 

She was born October 24, 1946, in Henderson to the late Sanders and Bernice (Needham) Ellis. Jeanette was a life-long resident of Henderson and attended Gaston schools. She enjoyed playing bingo and was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Ellis, Jerry Ellis, and Robert Wayne Ellis. 

Survivors include her siblings, Elizabeth Crye and husband Michael of Allen, Walter Ellis and wife Lana of Frankston, and Fay Modglin and husband Ken of Mesquite; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. 

The family would like to say a special word of thanks to the staff of Henderson Health and Rehab for their many years of loving care for Jeanette.
