Mr. Gonzalo Enriquez, 72, of Henderson, passed from this life on July 14, 2019, at UT Health in Tyler. He was born Jan. 10, 1947, in Santa Ana de Nahola, Cuidad Tula, Tamaulipas to Marcos Enriquez and Tomasa Aguilar and has lived in Henderson for the last 18 years.
Gonzalo was a skilled laborer and plant farm worker for Altman Plants near Troup and attended St. Jude’s Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Rodriguez; father, Marcos Enriquez; and brothers, Francisco Enriquez and Rodolfo Enriquez.
Survivors include his mother, Tomasa Aguilar; children, Maria I. Enriquez, Beatriz Enriquez, Glenda Enriquez, Elizabeth Enriquez, Gonzalo Enriquez, Omar Enriquez, and Juan M. Enriquez; sisters, Enedina Enriquez, Elvira Enriquez, Maria Enriquez, Irma Enriquez, Isidra Enriquez, and Felipa Enriquez; brothers, Luis Enriquez and Cleofus Enriquez; uncles, Domingo Aguilar and Canuto Aguilar; 21 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2019, in the chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with a Rosary to follow at 7 p.m. with Father Joe Kannamphuza officiating.
Interment will be held at a later date in Mr. Enriquez’s hometown in Tula, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
