Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Webster, 96, of Henderson, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2021, in the chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Rev. David Luckert officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, at the funeral home. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, masks or face coverings are strongly recommended, however not required, for the health and safety of all those in attendance for a visitation or service.
Mrs. Webster passed from this life on March 1, 2021, at UT Health in Henderson. She was born August 13, 1924, in Rusk County to the late Thornton and Omie (Perry) Strong and spent most all of her life in Rusk County. Mrs. Webster was a homemaker and a member of Church Hill United Methodist Church. Frances spent many years with Henderson I.S.D. as a cafeteria worker at Northside Intermediate School. She was a talented cook and made fantastic cinnamon rolls.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Annie Gibson Strong; husband, Elwyn Morris Webster; and step-brothers, Charlie, Tommy, and Garland Gibson.
Survivors include her sons, Danny Webster and wife Cathy, and Bill Webster, and daughter, Debbye Jarrell and husband Don, all of Henderson; grandchildren, Haley Smith and husband Chris, Christy Allison and husband Rusty, Melissa LeBlanc and husband Jake, Sally Thompson and husband Jake, and Josh Smith; and great-grandchildren, Avery LeBlanc, Tucker LeBlanc, Presley Thompson, Colby Thompson, Addison Davis, and Will Allison.
Pallbearers will be Scott Mullins, Jake Thompson, Jake LeBlanc, Chris Smith, Rusty Allison, and Josh Smith.
