Charles Lee

Graveside services for Mr. Charles “Big Daddy” Lee, 86, of Mt. Enterprise, was held at 2 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2021 at King Cemetery with Rev. Joe Orr and Rev. Dillon Price officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson. Visitation was held from 3 - 5 p.m., Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the funeral home. 

Mr. Lee passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 at his residence. 

He was born March 11, 1934 in Rusk County to the late Tommy and Ethel (Sears) Lee. 

He served his country in the US Army, and was a retired Chief Deputy. He also worked as a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Enterprise. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Vince Lee; brother, Neal Lee, and sister, Mahdeen Craycraft. 

Survivors include his wife, Mary Beth Lee; sons, Scott Lee and wife Terry, and Charles W. “Bubba” Lee and wife Martha, all of Mt. Enterprise; four grandchildren, Jeremiah Lee, Elizabeth Burkhalter, Alex Cockrell, and Amos Lee; eight great-grandchildren, Caroline Lee, Tesla Lee, Archer Lee, Deckard Lee, Bryce Burkhalter, Deacon Burkhalter, Carter Cockrell, and Taiven Cockrell; and sister, Fredia Shumate of Mt. Enterprise. Honorary pallbearers are Carl T. Simon, Jeremiah Lee, Amos Lee, Tyler Burkhalter, Brandon Cockrell, Bobby Ross, J.W. Evans, and Kenneth Lock.
