Graveside services for Mrs. Charlene Gresham, 84, of Mt. Enterprise, will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Isabell Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Joe Orr officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.
A register book will be available February 17-22, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for friends and family to come and sign and pay their respect to Charlene. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, masks or face coverings are strongly recommended; however not required, for the health and safety of all those in attendance for a visitation or service.
Mrs. Gresham passed from this life on February 16, 2021, at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. She was born April 19, 1936, in Jennings, Louisiana to the late Ed and Mary Alice (Istre) Roy. Charlene worked for several years at the Exxon station in Mt. Enterprise and really enjoyed her time volunteering with the EMT service. She was also a gifted artist, a great cook, especially with Cajun food, and had been attending First Baptist Church of Mt. Enterprise. Charlene took wonderful care of her home and family, and she made sure they always had everything that they needed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Gene Gresham; daughter, Sandra Wilson; grandson, Bradley Gresham; and sister, Frances Spell.
Survivors include her children, Tony Gresham, Staci Willis, and Nick Gresham, all of Mt. Enterprise; sister, Victoria Roy of Welch, Louisiana; grandchildren, Justin Wilson, TJ Gresham, Mackenzie Hannah, Maci Willis, and Landon Spivey; as well as other beloved nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Bubba Lee, Gary Matlock, Jackie Risinger, Jimmy Reeves, Van Vaught, and Freddy Swann.
