CENTER, Texas - The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has released the names of the two people killed in the crash of a small plane in Center, Texas Wednesday afternoon.

DPS said Tenaha residents, 73-year-old John D. Scull, and his passenger 81-year-old Carolyn Hooker Scull, died in the crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the plane crash just south of the Center Municipal Airport.

The cause of the accident is being investigated by the FAA.
